One of the most common questions we get at Carlson Chiropractic Center is “does my insurance coverĀ chiropractic care?” The answer is almost always “yes!” It’s not uncommon for it to be very comparable to your medical office coverage. It is often the same deductible and coinsurance. Or your plan may have just a co-pay – like a visit to your primary care physician. Our insurance specialists are happy to call and verify your chiropractic coverage for you. We are then able to give you a very close estimate on what your out-of-pocket expense will be.
Some health insurance policies place limits on the amount of coverage of care provided by a chiropractor per year. This limit might be a monetary value, or they might dictate the number of times you can see a chiropractor per year. We can check on that too.
If you have one of the few policies that don’t have chiropractic coverage or you are not insured, we can offer you a medical discount plan (MDP). An MDP is a plan which you subscribe to on an annual basis that will give you significant discounts on chiropractic care. You just pay a small annual fee for the plan. At Carlson, we treat many non-insured patients, and we find a way to make it work. We are very flexible with payment plans, or we can even assist patients in applying for no-interest credit plans like Care Credit (link to website).
Don’t let your insurance, or lack of, stop you from getting the care you need. At Carlson Chiropractic, we know overall health and wellness supported by chiropractic care is well worth the time of finding the most affordable plan for you!
